Desperate for $$$$$?
Ever thought of working at a restaurant?
Well, good news! Lan Chi’s, a new Vietnamese restaurant opening in the North End of Middletown is looking for Wesleyan students who are interested in being servers and bussers!
Here’s what we can tell you about the restaurant:
Owner, Chu Ngo, doesn’t come from a food background, but after learning that her friends, family, and collegues LOVED her home-style Vietnamese cooking, and she loved being in the kitchen, she decided to open a restaurant in Middletown!
Her vision for Lan Chi’s to create a restaurant that is accessible to students, families, and other diners who are looking for a high-quality meal featuring healthy, fresh, and delicious Vietnamese food. The ambiance will definitely be cool. We know because just a few months ago, Chu was on the lookout for students interested in painting a mural on the wall!
If you’re interested in applying for a job at Lan Chi’s, head down to the restaurant today, Tuesday January 22nd, from 10am to 2pm, or tomorrw, January 23rd, from 12pm to 5pm. You’ll briefly chat with the folks at the restaurant and get an application to fill out.
Lan Chi’s is located at 505 Main Street. If you walk across from Main Street Market (home of Froyo World and New England Emporium), and a little bit farther into the North End, you won’t be able to miss it!
If you are interested in this job opportunity, but can’t make it out to the resturant today or tomorrow, or if you have any questions, just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or send us a message on Faceook, and we’ll connect you with Chu!
We highly recommend that you apply to work at this restaurant. After talking to Chu, who is incredibly passionate about her concept and her food, we’re sure that it’s going to be a wonderful place to eat, and a wonderful place to work!
